With over 25 years of related professional experience, Cathy Carry is the Vice President of Human Resources for Allworth Financial. A native of California, she is the holder of a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis, and has also earned her MBA from San Diego State University. “An effective, forward-thinking HR department is essential for a company to be successful,” she said. “My team and I work tirelessly to make certain that the needs of our co-workers are met, and that Allworth Financial remains an exceptional place that talented people want to call home.” An avid reader and beach goer, the mother of three boys lives with her husband and children in Sacramento, California.

  • Cathy is a beach lover who enjoys any and all vacations by the sea.
  • Her happy place is going on hikes with her sister, whom she shares a close bond with.
  • She started her career as a life insurance salesperson, but soon realized it was not for her. She was inspired by her roommate who was taking HR classes and decided to pursue that field instead.
  • She is a Costco latte addict who goes there every day to get her caffeine fix.
