Brent Walker is a Partner Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional based in Allworth’s Indianapolis, Indiana, office. For more than 25 years, Brent has been focused on helping clients live more comfortably and plan more confidently through thoughtful financial guidance. A graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, he holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics.

Motivated by a desire to serve clients through a true fiduciary model, Brent co-founded RJP Investment Advisors in 1998. In 2009, he continued that fee-only journey by establishing WealthPoint Advisors—a respected Indianapolis-based planning firm that joined Allworth in 2024.

Brent is deeply involved in his community and has long demonstrated a passion for service. He’s a long-standing member of the Sertoma Club of East Indianapolis, where he has served as Treasurer, President, and Chairman of the Board. He’s also a past president of the IU Kelley School of Business Alumni Association, an active member of Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church, and a former president of the Holy Spirit Men’s Club. Brent lives in Fishers, Indiana, with his wife, Amanda, and their two daughters—whom he lovingly calls his “three beautiful redheads.”

The first step in my process is getting a clear, shared understanding of each client’s goals, needs, and objectives. I take time to learn about their family dynamics and how those factors may influence financial decisions. From there, we build a detailed financial profile, including assets, liabilities, cash flow, taxes, and estate considerations, so we can develop a plan that reflects the full scope of their situation.

With that foundation in place, I provide specific, actionable recommendations designed to offer the greatest likelihood of achieving the outcomes my clients have defined. Because the key areas of financial planning—cash flow, tax strategy, risk management, estate planning, and investment management—are deeply interconnected, I approach each relationship with a comprehensive, holistic lens.

Ultimately, my clients gain clarity around the steps needed to reach their version of success, and we benchmark progress along the way. I intentionally work with a limited number of clients to help ensure that every relationship receives the high level of service, insight, and fiduciary care it deserves.

One of the most rewarding parts of this profession is seeing a client reach a goal or milestone that we’ve been planning for, sometimes for decades. Watching that long-term effort come to fruition is incredibly fulfilling, and the confidence and pride it brings to my clients is truly remarkable. And the personal connection that forms through those shared wins is one of the most gratifying aspects of the work I do.

Helping clients achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding. But it’s the trust and personal connection built along the way that I value most.
