Daravy Son is a financial advisor in Allworth’s Manasquan, New Jersey, office. For more than 25 years, she has helped clients navigate life’s financial milestones by crafting comprehensive, goal-driven wealth management strategies that evolve with their needs. A graduate of Rutgers Business School, Daravy went on to earn her MBA from Monmouth University. She began her career at Merrill Lynch Asset Management as a fixed income trader and portfolio manager, then in 2003, joined George McKelvey Company—a respected Manasquan-based investment management firm that joined Allworth in 2024.

Daravy and her husband, Ritthy, have been married for nearly 30 years and have two grown daughters. In her spare time, Daravy enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.

My approach begins with listening. I take the time to understand each client’s goals, values, and life circumstances—both personal and financial. Whether someone is preparing for retirement, saving for a child’s education, or simply striving for long-term financial stability, I work to build a clear, holistic picture of what matters most to them. From there, I create a personalized strategy that aligns with their objectives and comfort with risk.

Throughout our partnership, my clients can expect a relationship built on trust, open communication, and genuine care. My comprehensive approach goes beyond managing investments to include tax strategies, risk management, and other key aspects of their financial lives. I’m proud to say many of the individuals and families I work with have been with me for nearly two decades, a privilege I do not take lightly. These lasting relationships allow me to continuously refine their plans as life evolves.

I truly enjoy building long-term relationships with my clients and being a steady presence in their financial lives. It’s deeply rewarding to support them through life’s transitions and to witness the progress they make toward their goals over time. The trust they place in me means everything. I work hard to earn and maintain that trust by being dependable, responsive, and fully committed to their best interests every step of the way

Trust is at the core of everything I do. I believe strong financial guidance is built on long-term relationships, open communication, and a deep understanding of each client’s specific circumstance.
