Kent Erickson is a financial advisor in Allworth’s Redding, California, office. A graduate of Simpson University and a native of Redding, he shares his financial expertise with his community by teaching a financial literacy course at his church, covering topics such as behavioral finance, budgeting, investing, insurance, and investment risk management. Kent is also an outdoor enthusiast. He and his wife, Kelly, enjoy spending their weekends floating down the Trinity and Sacramento Rivers or hiking in Lassen National Park.

My process always begins with listening. I take the time to understand not just the numbers, but what matters most to my clients—their values, goals, concerns, and the vision they have for their future. From there, I build a personalized financial plan that reflects those unique priorities. Running the numbers is the easy part; the real work is creating a strategy that is personally meaningful. My approach is guided by a holistic philosophy—seeing the full picture and addressing all aspects of a client’s financial life.

Throughout this process, my clients can expect a thoughtful, collaborative experience. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I focus on building lasting relationships, where open communication and trust are key. I aim to simplify complex financial matters, provide clear guidance, and deliver a plan that evolves with their lives. Above all, my clients can expect someone who is committed to helping them feel confident about their financial future.

I genuinely enjoy helping people bring clarity and confidence to their financial lives. Every client has a unique story, and I find it incredibly rewarding to build plans that reflect those stories. Whether it's helping someone retire comfortably, align their finances with their values, or simply feel more in control of their finances, I value the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in my clients’ lives.

Your financial future should feel personal, thoughtful, and clear—because it's not just about money, it's about your story. I’m here to help turn that story into a strategy that supports the life you want to live.
