Maria Foppiano

Financial Advisor

ChFC®

With more than a decade at Allworth Financial, Maria Foppiano is a Chartered Financial Consultant® who serves our Sacramento-area offices. A native of the Sacramento area, Maria earned an economics degree from the University of California, Davis. When asked about her approach to advising, she draws from personal experience: “Coming from a large family, even at an early age I could see the superior lifestyle outcomes that were achieved by relatives who planned for the future. So, I make certain that my clients understand how a comprehensive financial plan, coupled with ongoing guidance, can absolutely help them achieve a level of success and prosperity that might otherwise elude them.” Married with a toddler at home, in her spare time Maria enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures, growing vegetables and fruits in her garden, and playing competitive sports.

I believe that financial planning should be a deeply personalized process, as each client brings their own unique needs, goals, and circumstances. This is why my planning process begins by gathering comprehensive information—financial data, life goals, preferences, concerns, and other relevant factors. Then, by actively and carefully listening to what truly matters to my clients, I ensure the plan we develop aligns with their vision for the future. Together, we create a comprehensive strategy that not only addresses their financial situation but also supports their broader life goals and dreams. This allows us to build solutions that are both practical and aspirational, with the flexibility to adapt as life circumstances evolve.

Over the course of our relationship, my clients can expect my full and undivided attention. I take pride in being a great listener and enjoy getting to know each client’s unique situation. I absorb every shared detail while offering thoughtful, well-informed advice, and I am committed to thoroughness. Above all, my goal is to create an environment where my clients feel comfortable, confident, and empowered to discuss their financial goals. Trust is the cornerstone of our relationship, and I continuously strive to earn and maintain that trust with every interaction.

What I love most about being a financial advisor is the opportunity to connect with incredible people and make a meaningful impact on their lives. For me, financial planning is like solving a unique puzzle—each client brings their own set of circumstances, goals, and challenges, which makes every plan exciting and distinctive. I’ve witnessed firsthand how working collaboratively with clients can lead to real, tangible changes in their financial well-being, and that’s incredibly rewarding. Knowing that I’ve played a role in helping someone achieve their financial goals or find peace of mind gives me a deep sense of fulfillment and joy.

What keeps me motivated in my work is the potential I have to possibly help someone and make a positive difference in their lives. I have a passion for interacting with people and providing them with great service and advice to achieve their goals.
