Important Update for 2023

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Allworth Financial (formerly Houston Asset Management) academic scholarship.

Unfortunately, for the reasons discussed below, we can no longer offer this award.

With more than 30 years of charitable giving, Allworth has proudly championed causes throughout the communities we serve, donating time, energy, and resources in support of a variety of nonprofits coast-to-coast.

Because we take giving back to our communities so seriously, in late 2020, in partnership with Ticket to Dream Foundation, we launched a new philanthropic program named Allworth Kids, which is having a resounding impact on children in foster care across the nation.

As we are donating considerable resources and time in support of this endeavor, we are unable to continue contributing to the various charities that we have supported in years past. Unfortunately, this includes offering new Allworth Financial academic scholarships (beyond, of course, funding the previous honorees who are currently in the scholarship program today).

Since its inception in December of 2020, Allworth Kids has positively impacted the lives of more than 150,000 foster children. From the moment they enter foster care, to their transition into adulthood, our efforts help to provide essential resources such as properly fitting clothing and shoes, personal care products, school supplies, laptops, first night kits, essential disaster relief support, and even the ability to participate in everyday experiences like sports, music lessons, or simply being able to attend a movie with friends.

Thank you again for your interest in the Allworth Financial academic scholarship. We hope you understand that the decision to discontinue that program was not an easy one. And, although we are unable to support your scholarship needs at this time, we wish you the absolute best in your future academic endeavors.
