Back to School

June-September

Providing foster children with back-to-school supplies, technology, and tutoring so they can start the year off right.

While less than 50 percent of all foster children graduate from high school, we’ve teamed up with the Ticket to Dream Foundation in an effort to turn that number around.

To help these children, who, through no fault of their own, are in the foster care system, our exciting June-September “Back to School” initiative will address one of the key school worries that impact foster kids: basic supplies.

In tandem with the Ticket to Dream foundation, Allworth Kids is going to ensure that 8,900 foster kids start the 2021-2022 school year off with laptops, backpacks, school supplies, and much needed access to tutoring, giving foster youth a better chance to succeed.
