Ashley Lareau is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional in Allworth’s Norwood, Massachusetts, office. She began her career in financial services nearly two decades ago after earning dual degrees in business and Spanish from the University of Rhode Island. It was her love of working directly with clients and helping them feel confident in their financial decisions that led her to become a CFP® professional. Today, she partners with individuals and families to develop personalized wealth plans that reflect each client’s goals, values, and stage of life.
Ashley lives in Wrentham, Massachusetts, with her husband, their two daughters, and their dog, Lily. She enjoys Peloton workouts, reading, quality time with friends and family, and summer days on Cape Cod. Deeply committed to giving back, she spent more than a decade mentoring through Big Sister Boston.
It all begins with an in-depth conversation. I take the time to understand who my client is—not just their financial goals, but the values behind those goals and any concerns or fears that may be holding them back. I approach these conversations with curiosity and empathy, asking thoughtful questions and encouraging open, honest dialogue.
Life is ever-changing, so I believe financial planning should be flexible and responsive. Regular check-ins throughout the year help ensure I stay aligned with each client’s evolving circumstances and priorities. These ongoing conversations give us the opportunity to reassess, adjust strategies, and keep their financial plan moving forward.
My goal in every relationship is for clients to feel truly heard, and to walk away with a greater understanding of their financial picture. I believe in empowering informed decisions through collaboration—not just with clients, but with a team of professionals including fellow advisors, attorneys, tax experts, and insurance specialists. This team-based approach ensures every aspect of a client’s financial life is thoughtfully addressed.
I genuinely enjoy helping people and being part of their financial journey. There's real fulfillment in helping relieve a burden, spark understanding, or create a sense of excitement about the future. Sometimes the planning process feels like solving a puzzle together; other times, it’s about offering that one missing piece that helps everything click into place.
In a world where financial literacy is often limited and misinformation is far-reaching, I find purpose in the educational side of my work. When clients better understand their finances, they feel more empowered to make decisions and more at ease about what’s ahead.
I believe in ongoing collaboration and communication. My goal is to be a long-term partner and a trusted resource for all parts of a client’s financial journey.
