With nearly a decade of experience helping to build comprehensive financial plans for clients, United States Navy veteran James Risalvato is an advisor in Allworth’s Dallas, Texas, office. After six years of active duty as a flight engineer (P-3C Orion), James left the military and went on to attain his undergraduate degree, which he soon followed up by earning a Master of Arts degree in Applied Economics. An ongoing volunteer for Heart of America Stand Down, which specializes in assisting homeless veterans, when asked about his philosophy of advising, James said: “I’ve always been a natural when it comes to numbers, time, duration, and advanced calculations, and because I enjoy all types of people, I feel blessed to have identified a career that enables me to help people live better lives and achieve their financial goals.” With hobbies that include cooking gourmet Sicilian food, travel, and collecting rare whiskeys, James and his wife, Stephanie, had their first child in the fall of 2023.
