Joseph Sachetta
Partner Advisor, Tax Specialist
CFP®, CPA/PFS, MBA, MST
Joseph Sachetta is a Partner Advisor serving Allworth’s Lynnfield, Massachusetts, office. He has spent more than 40 years helping individuals and families make thoughtful financial decisions while balancing the importance of enjoying today and preparing for tomorrow. As both a CFP® professional and CPA, he brings decades of experience spanning financial planning, tax strategy, and wealth management.
After earning his CPA in 1980, Joe helped establish Sachetta, LLC, in 1984, a Lynnfield-based wealth management firm that partnered with Allworth in 2026. He earned his CFP® certification in 1991, expanding his practice from accounting and tax planning into comprehensive wealth management. Throughout his career, he has been recognized not only for his technical expertise, but also for his dedication to educating others and advancing the profession.
For 17 years, Joe served as an instructor for the Boston University Corporate Education Center and has been a member of the Everett Bank Board of Directors since 1994, including 12 years as Chairman. He has also remained deeply involved in his community through the Everett Rotary Club, where he has served as president and treasurer.
Originally from Everett, Massachusetts, Joe raised his two sons, Eric and Brian, in Lynnfield and now lives in Topsfield with his wife, Ann. Together they enjoy traveling with their growing family, including their daughter-in-law, Meghan, and grandchildren, Logan and Isabella. After completing a decade-long goal of visiting every Major League Baseball stadium, Joe’s latest adventure is exploring America’s national parks. Though, as Ann has made clear, not necessarily all of them.
Every relationship begins with understanding the full picture. Before discussing strategies or recommendations, I take the time to learn about a client’s financial goals, family dynamics, priorities, and long-term aspirations. Just as importantly, I want to understand how they make financial decisions, their comfort with investment risk, and, for couples, ensure both partners have a voice in shaping the plan.
That foundation allows us to develop recommendations that reflect not only a client’s financial circumstances, but also the people and relationships that matter most. I believe the best financial plans are built through collaboration, with strategies that evolve alongside changing goals and life events.
Throughout our partnership, my clients can expect a relationship grounded in honesty, integrity, and responsiveness. I believe financial planning should be an ongoing conversation, not a series of isolated meetings. Whether a question arises tomorrow or years down the road, my goal is to remain a trusted resource who is readily available whenever guidance is needed.
The relationships I’ve built over the years are what I value most about this profession. It’s a privilege to earn the trust of clients and, in many cases, become someone their families rely on as well.
What continues to inspire me after more than four decades is seeing the lasting impact of those relationships. Whether it’s watching years of planning come to fruition or hearing a client recall advice from long ago that still guides their decisions today, those moments are a reminder of why this work has been so rewarding.

The greatest reward isn’t creating a plan. It’s watching my clients live the life that the plan helped make possible.
