Josh Jacobi Garcia is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional in Allworth’s Addison, Texas, office. The holder of a bachelor’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, Joshua originally hails from San Antonio, Texas. In his spare time, the North Dallas resident enjoys camping, fishing, and hiking in the mountains with his beloved German Shepherd.

Before diving into financial strategies, I believe it’s important to first understand who my clients are and what truly matters to them in life. If money were no object, how would they choose to spend their time? By understanding their family dynamics, passions, and personal values, I can craft a financial plan that aligns with their unique goals and vision for the future.

As we build our relationship, I also take the time to learn about their early experiences with money, as these memories often shape their financial perspectives and decisions. This understanding helps me provide advice that is not only practical but also personal to their financial journey.

I’m also a big believer in making it a point to celebrate the milestones and accomplishments that have occurred since our last conversation. Whether it’s a career advancement, a personal achievement, or a new addition to the family, I find joy in sharing these moments with my clients.

I often say that being a financial advisor is both an art and a science. The art is in cultivating strong, lasting relationships, while the science comes in creating tailored recommendations, no matter where the market stands. That’s why my approach is entered around setting clear, achievable goals for the short term, intermediate term, and long term. Seeing progress in real-time brings a sense of accomplishment for both my clients and me.

Above all, I aim to provide peace of mind. I want my clients to feel confident that I’ll be there for them every step of the way, guiding them through each phase of their financial journey. The relationships I build with my clients are truly meaningful to me, and I take pride in supporting them as they work toward their dreams. I am truly honored when they consider me a part of their story.

I come from a big military background, which instilled in me a keen sense of the importance of proper planning. In that vein, there is nothing more satisfying than helping clients build personal financial plans that help them realize their unique vision for the future.
