With nearly four-decades of financial, accounting, investment, and advisory sector experience, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional Lori Sherman is a partner-advisor in Allworth’s Lafayette, California, office. She began her business career as a CPA with Coopers & Lybrand in 1986. She was an independent consultant for several years prior to being appointed as Vice President and Controller at Roger Engemann & Associates. Having earned a B.S. degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and later, her CFP® designation, she has served as a principal at Stewart and Patten Company since 2000, and has also been a Girl Scout leader and volunteer for over 15 years.

While I feel fortunate to have a career that I love and which helps people achieve a sense of prosperity, I am equally passionate about my work with Girl Scouts, because it provides me with the opportunity to mentor and improve the lives of young women.
