Michael Messinger is a financial advisor based in Allworth’s Manasquan, New Jersey, office. With more than four decades of experience in the financial industry, his career began in dramatic fashion—on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange during the crash of 1987, where he was called upon to help manage orders amid the chaos. Michael holds both a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA from Rutgers University.

A lifelong resident of Marlboro, New Jersey, Michael is deeply engaged in his community, having coached youth sports and served on both the local water authority and the planning board. Today, he represents Marlboro on the Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education and serves as President of the Monmouth Heights Swim and Racquet Club. Michael and his wife, Caryn, are proud parents of two grown sons.

I believe the foundation of a strong advisor-client relationship is open, ongoing communication. That’s why I make it a priority to stay in regular contact with my clients—not just to share updates on their investments, but also to provide information and insights they can apply to their everyday lives. I’m a voracious reader, and I enjoy passing along useful articles and ideas that may help them stay informed and confident in their decisions.

That commitment to service and personal connection started early for me. Growing up, I spent time working in my grandparents’ coffee shop in New York City, where I saw firsthand the impact of treating every customer with genuine care and attention. Those lessons have stayed with me and continue to guide how I approach each client relationship today.

Throughout our partnership, my clients can expect me to take the time to truly understand their goals and to craft a financial plan tailored to their specific needs. I don’t believe in a cookie-cutter approach; instead, I focus on building thoughtful strategies that reflect what matters most to each individual and family I work with.

I truly enjoy putting my decades of experience in financial services to work by helping clients feel informed, confident, and well-supported in their financial decisions. For me, it’s about more than just numbers—it’s about building trust and offering guidance that makes a difference in my clients’ lives.

Whether I’m educating a client about market trends or walking them through a key financial choice, I strive to be a steady, reliable partner every step of the way.

Educating and serving my clients so they feel informed and empowered is the most rewarding part of what I do.
