Richard Gross is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional in Allworth’s Walnut Creek, California office. With more than 20 years of financial services experience, Richard is dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals and find comfort in the confidence and clarity that a well-executed financial plan provides. Outside of work, the long-time resident of Walnut Creek enjoys hiking, biking, and yoga.

The first step in working together is a ‘get-acquainted’ meeting, where I take time to understand what prompted a potential client to reach out. This conversation helps uncover their goals and gives us the opportunity to take a holistic look at their current financial picture—including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, risk management, and future income sources. From there, I begin building a framework that puts those goals into context and sets the stage for a thoughtful, customized plan.

Guided by trust, my fiduciary commitment, and my professional expertise, I create a collaborative environment where clients feel informed and empowered. By working closely together, my clients can expect to experience improved financial well-being, making well-informed decisions that align with their goals and help them move forward with confidence.

What truly guides my approach is witnessing the transformative power of a well-designed and thoughtfully implemented financial plan. I’ve seen firsthand how a clear, strategic plan can significantly enhance a client’s sense of security, confidence, and peace of mind. The ability to help clients navigate life’s financial complexities—whether it’s planning for retirement, managing risk, or making informed decisions during significant life events—is incredibly fulfilling.
