Robert C. Ryan is a Partner Advisor at Allworth Financial. Based in Yuba City, California, Rob brings nearly 30 of experience in financial planning and asset management to his clients. Originally from California, Rob earned his bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Growing up as the son of a retirement specialist, Rob developed an early appreciation for the importance of money management and planning for the future. He is licensed with Series 7, 63, and 66, as well as a California Insurance License (#0C05959), and life and long-term care insurance certifications. Before pursuing a career in financial advising, Rob served in the U.S. Navy and went on to log over 2,000 hours of flight time, including flying the F/A-18 Hornet in combat missions over Iraq and over 180 landings aboard aircraft carriers. Rob later became a fighter pilot instructor, working with an aggressor squadron to support Top Gun training. His military experience instilled in him skills of discipline, patience, and strategic thinking—traits that have contributed to his success as a financial advisor.

Rob is a retired Naval Commander and an active member of his community. He enjoys flying, sailing and adventure racing. He has volunteered with several local organizations and served as a Boy Scout leader, leading scouts on backpacking trips. Additionally, Rob is a member of the Rotary Club of Yuba City, the Aviation Pilots and Owners Association, the Presidio Yacht Club, and the Suiter Club of Sacramento.
